He's a Coach, Not Harry Potter
I have a man crush on Jose Mourinho. I've admitted it before and I'll gladly admit it again.
Say what you want about The Special One, complain about his arrogance, his ego, his brashness, you'll never change my mind. He is easily the greatest manager working in football today and his numbers and trophies back it up. He's never even managed a team I particularly care for but that doesn't matter. He's Jose and he's fantastic.
What Mourinho also provides is fantastic quotes and he's come through again after he has already begun getting pressure from the Spanish media after Real Madrid's uninspiring draw against Mallorca to open their La Liga campaign.
"Look, I'm a coach, I'm not Harry Potter, he is magical, but in reality there is no magic. Magic is fiction and football is real."
No doubt some people out there will be offended that Jose has implied that magic is fiction, but you must accept this truth. Jose's word is law and if he says there is no magic, then there is no magic.

How does this conflict with your love of Harry Potter, though?

I think one day, someone needs to put together one of those huge anthologies that historians love so much, only this time what I want to read is a compilation of all his press conferences and interviews. Can you imagine how great that book would be.
