Some thoughts
First, what a suzzball Piotr Nowak is. Mr. “We made too many mistakes in the first half” needs to look at himself. He was the one who put a formation that Dynamo just licked their shops at. Starting Miglioranzi. Wow. He’s a jerk.
Also, nice to see Michael_D commenting over at Brotherly Game on the poor officiating (or, since it was Jair Maruffo, a completely predictable performance)
I love it when Landon Donovan, who was almost completely invisible in that game yesterday, starts taking shots at players. He’s right about that complete scumball Marquez tho.

That was my thought on Donovan, while he’s certainly earned the right to comment he was terrible yesterday. Just shut up and actually play well…well maybe not since I still want NY to pull this series out.

Yeah, I also am rooting for NYRB to pull this out. And you know, if they get an early goal or maybe even two, the LA might just begin to unravel at the effrontery of it all, that someone would dare to go toe to toe with them. LA’s arrogance is their Achilles Heel, and just getting up there and getting in their face, showing the fire that Henry waited until the end of that game to show, will be necessary if they are to pull off the upset.

Hey
I’ll always have a soft spot for Philly, had some good years there growing up. But yeah, the officiating was dreadful…which is not bitching, its just simply stating the facts. Davis arguably had a hand-ball, but then again Philly should’ve had 10 men well before that. And I was terrified we were going to end up with our half-time looking like the end of the NYRB-LAG game.
And Marquez? As much as I want NY to beat them, I don’t see it happening now…although maybe him taking out Juninho might be the trick
Just what the polish doctor ordered
I love Nowak’s comments that the Union are better off with the loss (nefarious maglomaniacal laugh- MUWWW HAAA HAWWWW).
Now they will surely win, of course, since they lost. What a great motivator. I’m sure the Dynamo won’t be expecting Philly to try to win Thursday night. It’ll come as a surprise sneak attack!

Poor Dom
he fell unsuspectingly into a trap laid long ago
/again, I think Nowak’s been re-reading Vizzini’s dialogue from The Princess Bride

Inconceivable!
