Overload
so much to say, so much to take in…I’m still trying to keep perspective on the journey we’ve had this year as fans of our beloved Dynamo. We went from a promising start to a listless middle to a rejuvenating finish to a Cup final that has several delicious story-lines to it (not that they’re needed but still). In the meantime, its the routine of stuff getting posted here that helps keep us going forward :)
(Plus, work is crazy right now…hooray oil!)
Oh, and Simers is either the world’s worst troll or perhaps he just learned to type and decided to write this stream-of-consciousness. I honestly couldn’t even take what he said as trolling because it would embarrass even the most poor of trolls. TJ, please, gather your thoughts into at least the vague appearance of a point before you start writing. That way, if you’re trying to make a point about MLS’ relevance (or lack thereof) or a particular signing we can see that, you know, you’re actually making a point rather than coming across as 8th-grade level whining. Just sayin’
Oh, and the bit about Hainault just sounds like standard agent-beating-the-bushes stuff. I’m sure there are clubs who wouldn’t mind giving him a look, and of course making sure they have Franco-filic connections helps that cause, but I’d imagine he’d want to see out his contract (and perhaps get a raise after the cup, and fair play to that)
Nice piece by Ortiz, but he’s got a couple of things wrong. Rico Clark was actually out for both the 2006 and 2007 finals, 2006 for yellow accumulation and 2007 for administering the boot of justice to Carlos Ruiz. In 2006, Adrian Serioux filled in for Rico. But in the 2007 final we were out both Rico and Ching. Richard Mulrooney stepped in for Rico and was fantastic in that slot, while Ngwenya started in place of Ching.

A Hockey Game
Who would ask Beckham to a Hockey game and expect him to show?
I hate the fact that the Owner, owns of both teams in the final. Lame

Not only does AEG own them both
but I think its been pretty clear over the last few years which one of the “kids” is daddy’s favorite. AEG is gonna be sweating bullets that Houston behaves like a good boy and rolls over to let LA win this one and send Beckham out on a high note. But its Houston….WE AIN’T CARE!!
