Expanding Dynamo Theory
With the 2012 Houston Dynamo season just around the corner, it's time to get your feedback about the blog and see if I can sweet talk some of you in to becoming part of the writing team here on Dynamo Theory.
I'm looing to hear from our readers to get your opinions and suggestions about how the blog is doing and what kind of content and coverage you'd like to see in 2012. This is a labor of love for me and I want to make sure that all the time I pour in to the site is generating content that people are enjoying. Please feel free to leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments on this post or you can e-mail them to me if you're more comfortable with that.
I'm also doing my annual open casting call for the blog and you can find out more about that after the jump.
If you've been reading our post, lurking or even joining in on conversations and think you could be a regular contributor on the blog, contact Zach at dtblogstaff@gmail.com
I'm looking for Dynamo fans to fill the following roles on the site:
Match Editor: Essentially you'd be in charge of match previews, setting up the game threads and the match reports.
Writers: Write weekly (or more frequent) columns concerning the Dynamo and/or MLS.
Orange Slicer: During the season, scour the Internets and compile Orange Slices, the daily Dynamo links post.
If you're interested in any of those positions or have questions, just let me know. I promise I'm not trying to shirk my responsibilities as managing editor of the blog and sit in my castle on the hill ruling my orange fiefdom. I'm actually just trying to expand the site and make it bigger and better by incorporating more voices and ramping up our coverage going in to the 2012 season.
If this sounds like something you'd like to be a part of, I look forward to hearing from you. You could also ask Martek, Fuzion or playtherapy who much fun it is to work with me and get occasional e-mails from me. No doubt they'll tell you I'm awesome.

Dude, don’t tell people that!…and technically it’s Dentonite. That’s not much better but it’s not Dallas or Frisco proper at least.

Just kidding
Writing for Dynamo Theory has been exactly what Ginge said, a labor of love. It has been a blast meeting here in this virtual pub, wallowing in sorrows and enjoying the highs of supporting the Houston Dynamo.
Putting together thoughts and publishing them here will be a real joy for you. The growth of this site over the course of the past year has been fabulous to see. I think DT has become a real go-to site for Dynamo supporters, and heading into the new season and new stadium and what looks to be a very bright future, I believe it will only gets better.

I don't really have any suggestions
DT is my go-to for info on the team. It’s also the ONLY forum I have to discuss the team. And that’s what I’m looking for- the juice and then the place to gossip about it. Thanks.
I'll consider as well.
I’m out of school looking for work (real work) and will probably go to grad school next fall so at the moment it seems like it could be a good fit. Soccer has been an enormous part of my life and I do love this website so I could see this being a lot of fun.
DT
I have nothing but the utmost praise for the DT. There’s the official mouthpiece (Dynamo site), paper-of-record’s coverage (Chron) and then the place where people-who-know-things go, and thats DT. Mind you, there’s not per se scoops and full-time reporters and what-not, but there’s a clearly dedicated and passionate editor and team of writers who keep it humming along, season or no season. And there’s no other place for me. I don’t apologize for my volume of comments or forays into FanPosts because that’s what this site is for: a place for those who love the Orange go to express it. I love the grief we sometimes give each other and the thoughts, perspectives and opinions expressed here. I love that in some cases its gone beyond digital into meeting some of the guys here who are really great people. It’s a digital home for many of us, myself included, and I hope that only grows so that people who love footie and the Dynamo in particular can come and talk: maybe first time posters but long-time readers, rare and occasional posters, and in some cases as we’ve seen people who are supporters of other clubs can come as well and talk. Come one, come all.
Thanks Ginge, Fuze, Martek & Play and all you other folks who help make this site what it is. Let’s keep it growing and spreading and keep growing the Orange Umbrella
Amen
This has been a great resource for me to get my Dynamo fix and I love it. I think the people make it as great as it is – at least for me.

Freaking. Awesome
Wow, those are the “nosebleeds”. I SO CAN’T WAIT!!!
PS – BBVA, surely you have connections in Central/South America…put in a good word to some teams down there to come on over to Houston
BBVA has an entire league to themselves somewhere...
Just sayin’…
