Lineup is in...
Hall, Sarkodie, Boswell, Hainault, Freeman, Ashe, Palmer, Cameron, Davis, Bruin, Garey…nice to see Kofi get a start and I think it’s a good move to hold back Ching on this turf.

Another First Time for the Dynamo tonight
With Sarkodie and Bruin in the starting XI, it marks the first time in team history two rookies have started in the same match

I hope it'll also mark the first time...
Two rookies score their first regular season goals for the Dynamo in the same match, too.
I’m going to have to force myself to not read the comments from here on (working until 1AM). But I will watch the game after I get off work (DVR FTW!)

Well...
I take that back. I’m trying to hold off on taking my dinner break until roughly 9:45 or 10, which’ll give me roughly until the end of the match live on TV.

a little surprised ashe got the nod
Don’t have a problem with it. I just thought Dom would shuffle things up a little, though probably smart with his highness getting his first start to have Ashe in there since he’s a little more disciplined than cruz

Ashe is more defensive minded, which should help Sarkodie out on the right side

Almost time for kickoff
Remember the game is live on FSC

freeman got lucky

Freeman Yellow Card
Should have been a red honestly, very lucky.

VERY shaky
Everything is in our end

Yeah, looking a bit better now…but i’m not encouraged

Garey gets a shot on goal
Defensive mistake gives him a chance but he can’t do much with the shot

Good lord that was close...in a bad way.
I like Hall’s aggressive play but he’s got to smother that ball

What the hell?
Were the Dynamo properly aligned defensively on that cross? Surely not…
--
"You live and learn. At any rate, you live." -Douglas Adams
wow
We should be losing 3-0
"Well, at least our players kept their helmets on, so that showed some intelligence"-Bob McNair
Yeah, very lucky so far

Just poor again tonight, really poor
Tally Hall is saving us
--
"You live and learn. At any rate, you live." -Douglas Adams
Not that I have a solution, but...
Palmer, Cameron, Boswell, and Hainault have been very poor. Oh, and Ashe too.
Brad Davis not getting the ball is bad.
Sarkodie is the one bright spot so far.
Seattle is all over our midfield tonight, there’s no time or space and the backs can’t push forward at all, they are pinned on their back heels

At least we know we have a good goalkeeper

"You live and learn. At any rate, you live." -Douglas Adams
this looks like Seattle is the globetrotters and we are generals of soccer
Good thing they are missing the uncontested dunks.
We don’t look like we even belong on the field

GOOOOOAAAALLLL
I almost feel dirty. Like I just stole something
"Well, at least our players kept their helmets on, so that showed some intelligence"-Bob McNair
That was ugly, yet sublime
I’ll take it though! 1-0 Dynamo!

Rec'd for such an awesome phrasing...

i was repeating him on that last sequence

Where the fuck did all that extra stoppage time come from?
Typical lousy officiating
--
"You live and learn. At any rate, you live." -Douglas Adams
the way seatle was getting forward so easily, and with as many bodies makes me scared for what they will throw at us now that they down
A cornered animal is very dangerous…and they are DESPERATE for a goal
"Well, at least our players kept their helmets on, so that showed some intelligence"-Bob McNair
Shaky defense....
Where have I seen this before?
by DisplacedTexan on Mar 25, 2011 10:04 PM CDT up reply actions
Shaky defense but they are making the plays when they need to and keeping the ball out of the net…it’s a step forward I think

Agreed
I was thinking the Texans, to be fair.

Second Half underway
Weaver replaced Garey

Turf is really wet with the rain coming down
Ball is skipping all over the place
--
"You live and learn. At any rate, you live." -Douglas Adams
Where the hell was that pass going Ashe?
--
"You live and learn. At any rate, you live." -Douglas Adams
Dynamo playing with fire (not The Fire)
--
"You live and learn. At any rate, you live." -Douglas Adams
Dynamo possession improving, passing a little better
--
"You live and learn. At any rate, you live." -Douglas Adams
we look scared to have the ball
Way too many simple passes resulting in turnovers
"Well, at least our players kept their helmets on, so that showed some intelligence"-Bob McNair
Dynamo way too timid with the ball, allowing Seattle to step in and take it away too much
--
"You live and learn. At any rate, you live." -Douglas Adams
Dynamo looking a lot better in the 2nd half, but still not good enough...but it is progress
--
"You live and learn. At any rate, you live." -Douglas Adams
Geoff Cameron making runs is the difference right now.
He has to make those runs and force the forwards to find space.
Seattle scores
More terrible defending on the set piece
--
"You live and learn. At any rate, you live." -Douglas Adams
Good point
Wasn’t a fantastic performance but we went into a tough place and got a point. I’ll take that result.
by DisplacedTexan on Mar 25, 2011 11:01 PM CDT reply actions
That is a great point...
Seattle is capable of beating us. We started two rookies, one on the defensive line. We should’ve been down 0-1 or 0-2 at least, but somehow managed to get the first score.
I’ll take it.

Huge road point for the Dynamo
Tally Hall is the MAN! Match reaction/report will be up in a bit.
