Getting in on the Ground Floor: 25 Days Left to Join The New Supporters Section

Photo

The supporters section at the new Dynamo Stadium is filling up, but there is still time for you to become a part of what will be the loudest and most passionate section in the Dynamo's new home next season. There are 25 days left to place your $50 deposit on season tickets and the longer you wait, the more extra benefits you'll miss out on.

You can sign-up HERE.

The club announced some additional incentives this week and continue to show an unbelievable commitment to taking care of their hardcore supporters and making this new section work.

May 6 (Last Day!)

Purchase a season ticket in the Supporters Section and receive a commemorative pin to be awarded at a Dynamo practice by a Dynamo coach or player. Note: Anyone purchasing in this window will also receive additional incentives in the other two upcoming windows.

May 7 - May 20

Purchase a season ticket in the Supporters Section during this window and receive a supporters scarf to be awarded by a Dynamo player at Greenstar SoccerFest prior to the 5/28 match with FC Dallas. Note: Anyone purchasing in this window will also receive the final incentive in the last purchasing window.

May 21 - May 31

Purchase a season ticket in the Supporters Section during this window and receive a supporters scarf to be awarded by Dynamo President Chris Canetti pregame at the 6/11 match with Chivas USA.

We've already seen the benefits of the initial work by the various SGs and the front office with the combined supporters section at Robertson Stadium (the first time since 2007) that began with the New England match a couple weeks ago. Having the groups in the same section have increased their overall effectiveness and offered a fantastic preview of what we can expect to see next season.

Remember, seats in supporters section are available for $250 with only a $50 deposit needed to reserve your spot. You must place your deposit by June 1st, 2011 and with only 300 spots available, if it fills up before that date, you're out of luck. This is the first opportunity to purchase tickets in new stadium, at a $450 discount over normal price, and if you have ever wanted to be a part of El Batallon, Texian Army, The Brickwall or La Bateria, this is your chance!

It is important to remember the section with be standing room only and it's not for the faint of heart (especially in the summer). However, it's a fantastic chance for those fans that want to help be a part of building an intimidating and fantastic match day experience in the new stadium, and have a great view of the field.

I know this might sound like an advertisement, and to an extent it is. That said, I want this section to be a success and no how important a loud and organized supporters section will be in the new stadium. I'm fortunate enough to have a platform on this blog and want to do my part to help make sure this new section is packed next season.

I have purchased a ticket in the section and I want to encourage everyone who is interested in being a part of this new section to take advantage of this. I'm calling on every Dynamo fan that wants to stand, sing and jump for 90 minutes every home match to become a part of the section. The Dynamo have been amazing in organizing this and offering tremendous benefits to the fans that make the commitment to being a part of the new supporters section. Don't miss your chance, it's going to be an unbelievable experience.

If you sign up before the June deadline...

They’re giving away Dynamo scarves at some event to those who commit(part of an email I got directly from Rocky actually). Just figured I’d throw that in there. It’s a small extra bonus, but it’s a bonus nonetheless.

Yeah well...

If this promotion goes through, I’ll be waking up much, much earlier.
