OK, I’m reading through all of these links and having the following reactions:
On Ching: A warrior and I really hope he comes back Saturday night because, man, Brad Davis obviously cannot carry the load on the attack. Bruce Arena showed that when you shut down Davis, you shut us down on the attack completely. Not exactly a great insight as we’ve pointing this out for some time here. So with Ching back, that gives us a couple of points of attack because, man, does the Flyin’ Hawaiian ever have a work rate! He also destroys the las chivitas, which is always a good thing to see.
Soft tag: Good. It hope it irks the hell out of them. I want them irked. That’s one thing we need around here, a little more irk. More irk means more work, which can perhaps give us all a nice perk.
Staying positive: Screw positive. I’d rather they be irked.
Five questions: 1. I’d rather have two really good role players that enhance the level of the team than one splashy, expensive signing. 2. A technical director might be useful in the long term, but this team’s problems are not in the front office right now. 3. Irked, Glenn. Be irked. 4. Man, if this is really the end of the road for Chingy (the Dynamo’s own Craig Biggio), it would be a shame if for no other reason than he deserves to play in the new playpen. 5. See 3.
Domes: Ginge. If these guys can do it, so can you. What, you not irked enough?
PiƱa: So here’s what I’m thinking, that one day, if Tally Hall does decide to leave, the Dynamo GK battle will come down to two Houston natives. What is not to like about that?
Orange to the Oranje: Just a wonderful experience for these kids. What an opportunity.
Riordin: Is Riordin the Gaelic word for “Koke”?
