Supporter's Section Sells Out, So the Dynamo Open Up More Space

Well done Dynamo fans! The designated supporters group section at the new Dynamo Stadium has sold out! All 300 spots were purchased and to celebrate, the team has opened up a third section...how cool is that?

You now have until August 1st or until the last ticket is sold, whichever comes first, to get your place in what is sure to be the loudest, rowdiest and wildest section in the new stadium. You can get your tickets by visiting the Supporters Page on the Dynamo website.

The Houston Dynamo announced today that more than 300 season tickets have been sold for a supporters section in the Dynamo's new stadium for the 2012 season. As a result, the club has decided to expand the seating capacity by adding a limited numbers of seats to the supporters section. The team will also extend the on-sale deadline to August 1, or while supplies last, for fans to purchase supporters tickets at a discounted price.

"We challenged our supporters groups to reach 300 tickets so they could be in the lower bowl next year, and they were up to the challenge," Dynamo Senior Vice President Rocky Harris said. "Over the past few days, we have seen a tremendous amount of interest in this offer, so we decided to expand the section and allow our supporters groups to grow even further."

The full price for a 2012 supporters section season ticket is $250, but tickets can be reserved with a $50 deposit. Fans can place their deposit at HoustonDynamo.com/Supporters. Fans who committed to the section before June 1 will be rewarded with a bus trip to the Dynamo's 2012 away game in Dallas, special edition supporter scarves and pins, and several other incentives. Orders received between June 1 and August 1 will not include these offers.
