Not exactly Dynamo related, but is it still bad officiating if the call is correct? Also, this is a bit of ridiculousness.

He cam off the line early. End of story. I didn’t understand the controversy over this. I know it doesn’t happen much, but it was obvious in both cases and the ref did the right thing.

I think that might be why there is some contreversy over this.
It’s almost never called anywhere.
There's reeally not that many opportunities for it too be called
Most PK’s are converted. If the penalties is converted there’s no reason for it to be called. A PK has to be missed or saved first. If he just left a little early and it is really close the keeper is probably going to get the benefit of the doubt. I would be mad if I was a DC fan, but for all the “you never see that called” I have yet to see anyone point out evidence of a time when it could have been called and wasn’t. I’m sure it has happened at some point, but you don’t hear opposing teams complaining about keepers off their line early on a regular basis….and teams, or their fans, complain about everything.
