Cameron may not be the best CAM, and I would agree finding a new CAM and slotting Cameron into CDM would be nice.
However, I think a bigger priority is getting rid of Palmer by replacing him with someone better. He just has not fit the bill at all for replacing Clark. You get 1 CDM that is better than him and that fixes a shit load of problems. Half of the defense mistakes start out with a mistake made in the midfield (many times by Palmer) and this shit always leads to a goal. And the guy has a lot of red cards. With fewer mistakes from the midfield the defense won’t have to try to cover their ass as much and their should be fewer goals on us by then. Maybe we can maintain some more of our possession with better passing as well and give our forwards some better and more chances.
After that, get a new CAM or two that is better than Cameron. This allows you to slot Cameron to CDM and have a good back up for him and upgrade the midfield creativity all at the same time. If we still have room for a forward, go ahead and get one.

On the supporters’ groups story, compare what the team and groups did to the complete and utter disaster unfolding in New England: http://www.thedrugisfootball.com/2011/06/fortgate.html
Hmmm, one of these franchises is run by Sunil Gulati and the other is not. Guess which one.

And here are my quick takes
1-3. Like Zelaya, but like Borges better. Still, I’ll take either one.
4. Hard not to like Owen Coyle (unless you’re Burnley). Let’s see, Coyle gave us Ade Akinbiyi right? And we gave him Holden. The least he can do is convince his players to lay down in the Charities Cup.
5. What (Jd)Jesus(O) said.
6. Now if we can only get HRH Morning Kofi playing better so we can frakkin’ sub out Hunter Freeman on the right side.
7. See my previous post.

I'll take both.
I’ll take both.
We DO need a forward- a flitting striker type to be the foil of our big burly lumberjacks. That will change the way teams defend against us as they can park it, knowing we rarely score apart form set pieces or crosses.
Zelaya would help spread the defense out and these gaps would eliminate the “packing it in” defending. This would help whoever paired with Zelaya, Weaver or Bruin. It would also enhance Ching’s game- maybe he could actually survive a game.
Carl, “Cameron may not be the best CAM” is a huge understatement for me. I agree that Palmer is not a championship DM but am unsure about yet another position experiment for Geoff. I think he would be best @ CB. Putting him there gives us numerous trade options. Also, if the 1st half against SJE is any indication, Cameron @ CB makes us much more dangerous offensively as we can quickly transition into attack, as the Cameron can hit the outlet pass on the mark, This is where I see him most effective and beneficial.
We simply have to quit weakening our strengths. It’s not always about the best 11 on the field, it’s about getting the best team on the field.
Borges might be a good fit. At the least, he looks better than Watson. Time to upgrade with quality instead of constantly retooling with “stand-in bit players”.
Well said, no doubt we need a speed forward that can put the ball in the net
The Dynamo’s offense is simple and predictable, until they have a dangerous attacking option either up front or in the midfield, team’s can key on Davis and shut them down.

Watson really doesn’t impress me and doesn’t fit well from what I see. If the Dynamo were to get Borges, he would most likely keep Watson and Palmer in the bench. Taylor is the only great Jamaican player the Dynamo got. Having Zelaya and Borges will make teams wonder the kind of tactics the Dynamo will use against them
agree about Watson
I don’t really think that he’s a good fit for the Dynamo. But he’s probably the best option we have a CAM, and that’s more than a little frustrating- especially when I keep hearing about the front office looking at more forwards.
