We haven't looked in Africa.
We’re apparently deadset on Central America or Mexico. Or it sure as hell feels that way.

The dollar store has limited selection and the sell by date is often near or recently past.
Shame them into action? I'm clueless
I’m in if we make a decision to pass the hat. Get a big press party about our contributions to the Dynamo admin who are unwilling to fork out the merest amounts needed for a short term guaranteed contract.
Martek offered a counter point the other day- if other clubs keep signing middling players @ DP’s- it gravely affects our ability to sign the Ferreiras or Morales or Schlettos as nonDP but guaranteed players.
Remember the outrageous demands by Watson’s agent presigning- that he be a DP? It’s questionable if he’s starting or bench material- DP he’s not…
I wonder if the FO is having this problem.
Yet, being fed breadcrumbs of info amounting to nada (as in, where happened to our post Gold Cup negotiations with the standouts?). From what I’m reading, Costly is too costly, but what about the others?
We hear the FO is working hard, then there’s the cricket chorus. Then it’s like the last press release about scouting or entering negotitations NEVER HAPPENED….
And then we get the tryouts- whcih seem like the preseason tryouts, which seem like last seasons tryouts. It’s not that these players are bad and there may be a gem or two among the deitrus- yet it’s difficult to see the overall plan. Are we merely trying to get standins until we can unearth worthwhile players or is there a long-term plan?

The Dynamo is a sad story of letting him go…for ONCE we would get a legit CAM and not a mediocre player. They BETTER get a legit CAM very soon!
