Dream start

5’ – Colin Clark scores a short range goal, after Ching chested a cross down and Wahl deflected it right to Clark.

Dream Start, but the defense is already starting to make errors.

Ching and Clark are playing with heart. Trying to make up for those red cards possibly. Need everyone to do this every game. Cameron is playing the best I have seen him at CAM this game as well.

Moffat

The reason Cameron played so well tonight was becuase Moffit had the middle covered all game. Really impressed with this player. He had a couple long range shots that were all either on goal or goal bound. Unlike Palmer who was always absent and ripping shots into the crowd

Gotta watch

Just got in and DVR’d the game but saw the result and was quite pleased with the result. From what I saw Ching played some inspired footie and lead the troops tonight. It’s very encouraging and of course happy to get 3 points, I just hope we can sustain the effort. Nicolai said Moffat played well in the mid and that’s also very encouraging. If, as the rumors are true, we can get Sanchez on loan and Moffat can link with him we’ve got a very positive development on our hands.

Of course, not to be too dour on such a festive occasion but I hope we can sustain it…part of the issue is we get a great result then turn around and take the piss the following week. I’m gonna watch the game in the few to do my own takes on it but happy to get the win, especially against Seattle

PS – I think we talked about timewasting if we had the chance….so happy we got the chance :)

I'm not sure on Sanchez...

Canetti denied making any sort of official offer for Sanchez. The keyword there in my opinion is official. He said that they did inquire what it would take to sign him. This must be the source of the rumor. I think that both sides verbally came to an agreement, but nothing “official” has happened yet. Even if we sign him he really appears to be more of a striker to run off of Ching. I think Kinnear must realize this too considering that he has said he is primarily looking for a forward, and he brought Lindemann at the same time as Sanchez.

I almost forgot...

Although what you say is true with “we get a great result then turn around and take the piss the following week”, that truly felt like a completely different team. I think Moffat could hold the key to immediate, moderate success. If we want to truly set the league on fire, Cameron has to step up and play like he did week in and week out. Sanchez up top wouldn’t hurt either. Overall I’m trying to be cautiously optimistic, but this win seems different than previous “positive results”. Let’s just hope we don’t show up to Philly with an arrogant attitude as if we own the league.
