Why is Taylor playing on the wing?

by DD77DD on Aug 17, 2011 6:52 PM CDT reply actions

That is a good question. Is Ashe hurt? does he need the rest? Is the speed needed at the position? If not, Dom could be thinking of saving Ashe till the 60 minute and the use him to burn the revs defense.

It’s a rotation issue with the three matches in a week

btw, on the dynamo’s facebook page it says Garey instead of Costly

by DD77DD on Aug 17, 2011 6:58 PM CDT reply actions

Definitely not starting well. Already given up 2 free kicks and this second one could be bad.

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:11 PM CDT reply actions

Well that goal was nice and stupid

Can’t, I already gave you a kit kat bar during the last game

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:14 PM CDT up reply actions

Terrible defense. Not going to be a fun night tonight at this rate.

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:13 PM CDT reply actions

this sucks since as soon as I stop playing Call of Duty we get a goal scored

by RedAce on Aug 17, 2011 7:20 PM CDT up reply actions

Yea almost got one too. Rev’s with a nice clearance off the line. Sucks for the dynamo today.

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:15 PM CDT reply actions

WTF?

This team has poor communication so far

by RedAce on Aug 17, 2011 7:16 PM CDT reply actions

Team is not mentally there as always on road games the last two seasons.

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:18 PM CDT up reply actions

Man, Dynamo can’t buy a goal

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:32 PM CDT reply actions

Moffat is such a beast!

he’s not afraid to attempt a good long shot

by RedAce on Aug 17, 2011 7:33 PM CDT reply actions

Moffat with another blast that was on frame. Reis is doing his best Wall impersonation today.

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:34 PM CDT reply actions

What kind of foul is that? Does Watson love doing stupid reckless fouls?

by RedAce on Aug 17, 2011 7:39 PM CDT reply actions

It rubbed off of palmer onto him

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:40 PM CDT up reply actions

Exactly!

I bet he would get more fouls than a defender. Let’s trade this useless player for someone useful

by RedAce on Aug 17, 2011 7:43 PM CDT up reply actions

I would not say he is useless

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:45 PM CDT up reply actions

he may fit better in another team

by RedAce on Aug 17, 2011 7:46 PM CDT up reply actions

Also possible he smoked a little bit of that jamaican grass before coming onto the field for some “Jamaican” inspiration

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:43 PM CDT up reply actions

now I know why Dom signed him. That damn grass is bad

by RedAce on Aug 17, 2011 7:45 PM CDT up reply actions

Terrible first touch Cameron

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:44 PM CDT reply actions

Davis crossing is off so far tonight

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:48 PM CDT reply actions

But his corner kicks are awesome right now

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:48 PM CDT up reply actions

On a bright side, Moffat is doing really well, and the dynamo have been doing much better in the latter part of the first half

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 7:55 PM CDT reply actions

Indeed. The game is not over. I think the deciding factor will be Doms subs (hopefully in the 60 minute area)

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:15 PM CDT up reply actions

Weaver

I just noticed the “Ghanaian miss” from Weaver. Wow

by RedAce on Aug 17, 2011 8:06 PM CDT reply actions

He was offsides anyways (the only way he can be infront of a defender with his speed. Can’t think of anyone off the top of my head who is slower, same speed maybe, but not slower.

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:08 PM CDT up reply actions

Good lord. Chochrane is owning Weaver. Watson with a really off shot.

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:18 PM CDT reply actions

Moffat has played quite well

by DD77DD on Aug 17, 2011 8:19 PM CDT reply actions

He has. I may start referring the team as the M.M. (Moffat Mafia)

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:23 PM CDT up reply actions

Reis with another Wall save DAMNIT

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:22 PM CDT reply actions

Dixon?

Love this change. I want to see what he has in store!

by RedAce on Aug 17, 2011 8:26 PM CDT reply actions

Watson went out. Alex Dixon is on. Dom getting more confidence in the kid?

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:27 PM CDT reply actions

I wouldn’t doubt it. It has just taken Dom a long time to start integrating him into the first team games. (I believe its been a couple seasons now)

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:31 PM CDT up reply actions

I mean I wouldn’t doubt him being better than Watson out wide

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:32 PM CDT up reply actions

Weaver needs to bring those headers down!!!!!!

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:28 PM CDT reply actions

I'm saying it now

This game is over. We can’t continue this horrible play and expect anything more than a loss.

Ching really needs a rest

Why not take out Weaver for Carr?

by RedAce on Aug 17, 2011 8:36 PM CDT reply actions

Do you know how fast he is by any chance? Obviously he can’t be slower than Weaver.

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:37 PM CDT up reply actions

I’ve never seen him play

by DD77DD on Aug 17, 2011 8:38 PM CDT up reply actions

Ref. is not letting the Dynamo do any quick restarts. Its really annoying.

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:39 PM CDT reply actions

Yellow for Moffat. Where was the foul call on when Davis was mugged a few seconds before.

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:44 PM CDT reply actions

Is Carr the only forward in history to use a defender’s number? #3…really?

by RedAce on Aug 17, 2011 8:45 PM CDT reply actions

Too late to bring Carr in. Fusion was right, game is over.

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:47 PM CDT reply actions

no matter how stupid it may seem, if all you need is one goal, then I believe the game is still open

by DD77DD on Aug 17, 2011 8:50 PM CDT up reply actions

The Dynamo need a road win, not another tie

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:52 PM CDT up reply actions

we’re not Barca to score an amazing last minute goal

by RedAce on Aug 17, 2011 8:51 PM CDT reply actions

the game has been pretty frustrating, so close yet so far

by TiEaB on Aug 17, 2011 8:53 PM CDT reply actions

gooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!

by DD77DD on Aug 17, 2011 8:54 PM CDT reply actions

Biggest load of shit goal ever

But I will take it!

why was it a load of shit? i’m a soccer noob

by TiEaB on Aug 17, 2011 8:55 PM CDT up reply actions

Because we didn't deserve a draw

And because the ball dropped to Boswell’s feet after the scrum in front of the goal.

You guy’s feed is much faster than mine. I did not see the goal until 30 seconds after you guys. Doesn’t matter to me, Houston needs a road win and the rev’s are the best chance they had at one

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 8:56 PM CDT reply actions

Yeah

When that ball dropped to him and he unloaded, for a split second I thought goal. But it was blocked by the defender

Why did Moffat get a second yellow?

by Carl Morandi on Aug 17, 2011 9:01 PM CDT reply actions

He kinda...

Maybe a lot, pushed the defender on his way out of bounds.

But I think it was basically tit for tat, straight red for Reis, second yellow for Moffat.

I'm liking what I see from Moffat

He reminds me of a younger Eddie Robinson, just with more skill on the ball. I love his fire, his intensity.

I'm a fan

A huuuuge fan. I really didn’t think he’d be as impressive as he’s been. He definitely is the answer at DMid, and hopefully for a few seasons to come for us.

Disappointing tie

Especially when we should have easily won. We had tons of missed chances which we should have done better with but we also had a good amount of chances that were saved by freaking Reis who was practically unstoppable, nothing we can do about that. We dominated possession, 61% to 31% which was very nice but we just couldn’t seem to get goals. I’m glad we were able to steal a point from New England in the dying moments.
