THIS
this was a freakin’ game. I’ll be honest, I would’ve been pissed had we lost or been irked had we drawn, but fair play to the teams on the pitch: it was like watching a great boxing match. Back and forth action, chances on both sides and finally one lands the blow that ends it.
That being said: WE GOT 3 POINTS ON THE ROAD, AND AGAINST FC DALLAS!!!!
Great effort from everyone, they threw their best at us and we at them, alot of action but we edged them. Very happy with our line-up that we’ve had the last couple of games, and Camargo and Moffat are key in the midfield. And wow, imagine if Cam weren’t playing at the back this game? We would’ve been down 3-0 by halftime. Well done Orange!!
Yeah, ya know...
Not to beat the deadest of horses but…
We called Cam at CB for the longest time (ok well, not at freakin CAM at least), and Moffat and Carmago have shown they can not only handle the middle of the pitch, but take care of bidness as needed, too.
Cameron at CB makes this team loads better. Confidence comes from not only victories, but from good play on the pitch. Cameron will excel at CB as long as the Dynamo heads let him.
Also, I’ll have a story going up tonight/tmw early AM(long overdue, but my apologies on life keeping me busy as hell) that everyone will want to check out (shameless plug? yep).

FUZE!!!
Like a lucky charm, you show up and we get the win :)
Good to have you back and I think we all feel that pain of life having other plans for us!
I was just looking and the last clean sheet we had (in MLS play) was July 3rd against Colorado; if you also look, ever since we’ve had Camargo & Moffat in the middle with Cam back at CB, we’ve had the following results:
2-2 draw with Columbus (the result of a horrible call and a foolish mistake)
2-1 win against SJE
1-0 win against FC Frisco
Now, I realize a sample set of 3 games isn’t representative of a full-blown trend but we do see that the defense is conceding less goals and we’re scoring more. I know this sounds easy enough but for most of the season we’ve scored about as much as we’ve allowed, which is why we’ve been spinning our wheels. As you note, C&M are not only holding down the midfield but really giving opposing teams a handful…combine that with Carr’s pace and of course our enviable depth chart of target men and the fact that our defense is really starting to tighten up…is this the start of a strong run to finish the season? If we can take care of business against CHI then suddenly we’ve got an entirely new look and confidence propelling us. Come on boys!
