-Insert Name Here- Changes Face of Houston? Costly Returns?

The thought behind this article is if we had a finally landed that "big name" player, he would fit perfectly into this story. The city of Houston is hard to sell, but I think the player who comes here has to really see the opportunity they have to leave a mark on the soccer in Houston. Hope you enjoy, just something that was on my mind as I thought about the players that turned Houston down and some who were rumored to be in discussions with the Houston Dynamo.

In other news, @yossarin on Twitter posted that Carlo Costly may be set for a return to Houston next week. Looks live this coming from Costly himself via DM. Interesting news to say the least.

What do you think? Answer at forward for the Dynamo?

Good

I think it would be a good signing considering he knows how the team plays. I would be happy to have him back and im pretty sure the players and the fans will openly welcome him back “home”. Now that Ching is not here he can get more minutes and i think he would have more scoring opportunities. Who knows? He might answer the scoring plroblem by either being the scoring threat or being that withdrawn forward

We need him...

he’s honestly the only attainable player I can think of that can hold play up like Ching did. His style of play is eerily similar to Ching’s at his age

Again

if the price is right I’d actually love to see Costly back, and I’d be very curious what he could do over the course of a season with everyone’s roles mostly solidified. With each passing game he became more aggressive on the attack, it just didn’t translate to goals – as I believe Martek or playtherapy pointed out, he was basically our answer to Fernando Torres. But still, I’m a hopeful sap like that so I’d give him another shot, but for the right price
