Brad Davis takes the PK so calmly, so cooly. The Dynamo are up 3-1 now. Defense, let's stand up and play tough, play strong, play solid. NO MORE UNION GOALS! Let's Go Dynamo!

CHA-CHING! MONEY BABY! Dynamo take the lead on a beautiful build-up, beautiful assist from Chinger to Garcia. Boniek Garcia finds the back of the net. Do not take your foot off the gas. Screw that. Feet to the throat! WE'RE ALL IN! Let's Go DYNAMO!

We're still at a draw, 1-1 Dynamo and Union. Giles Barnes has been substituted for Adam Moffat in the 56th minute. Let's see how this changes things for the Dynamo. Offense please? Yes, I think they will bring a lot of offense now.

We all still have a place in our hearts for DeRo, and his team (though unfortunately they are playing without him) have managed to draw back to level against the Columbus Crew. Yes, that Columbus Crew. The team we need to at the VERY least draw with DCU, though we would absolutely LOVE if DCU managed to pull a win out of the match. The Dynamo still have their own work to do, but DCU could certainly help the cause.

The Dynamo and Union currently find themselves at a draw at halftime from BBVA Compass Stadium. Right now, possession seems to be about 65-45 or so in favor of the Dynamo. I'd say the better of chances are falling to the Dynamo as well. Unfortunately, a few of those chances have found the feet of Mac Kandji, and while his outlier of a goal early would lead one to believe otherwise...he is still the Lord of the Open Net Misses.
Kandji's goal came early, within the first five minutes. The Union goal came around the 20th minute or so off a cross to the head of McInerney. It was a goal the Dynamo should not have conceded, but somehow McInerney found his way between Dynamo defenders and got his head to the ball and beat Tally Hall to the top corner. It was an ugly goal to give up, not because the goal itself was ugly, but because we gave it up in the manner we did.
No excuse for that goal. None. Fullbacks have to prevent the man from getting position in the air. That is YOUR ball, YOUR line. PLAY IT.

It's halftime in the Crew v DCU match, and Columbus leads 2-1. Goals for Columbus from Gaven and Arrieta. The Arrieta goal could be ruled an own goal, though most likely will be a normal goal for Arrieta. He blasted one at goal, it hit post, then ricocheted behind and off the back of Hamid and into the goal. DCU's goal scored by DeLeon.
If season ended right this minute, Crew would be in the playoffs and Dynamo would be out. Ouch, that hurts.
LET'S GO DYNAMO!

In the 19th minute, the Philly Union put together a build-up and a push toward the box. A cross found it's way inside the defense, and a Union player found space, headed the ball into the goal past Tally Hall. There's still a lot of game to be played, but it's been a long time since I've had to question the defense so consistently.
Let's hope the boys have more goals in them. We need these 3 points.

Mac Kandji makes a move and finds the net, beating the Keeper one v one. The Dynamo take a 1 - 0 lead. Oh, and you know what else...? We're in the beloved 4-4-2. Welcome back, old friend. We have dearly missed you!
You know what else? Brad Davis is BACK!

With only two matches left until the playoffs, the Dynamo look to win and keep control of their own destiny in the East. To do so, they'll have to beat the Philadelphia Union, who ride a two match winning streak into BBVA Compass Stadium on Saturday night.
