Another one of those "must-win" games has arrived as the Montreal Impact are in town tonight. There are a couple big differences between last week's must-win and this week's must-win, the biggest being the Impact still have a playoff hope. It's an extreme long shot, but it's there and it gives them some extra motivation tonight. There's also the fact that this Impact team is better than the Revolution team we saw last week (injuries have a fair amount to do with that).
The Dynamo will need to focus on themselves, do their jobs and get the full three points. They've been doing it all year at home and they can't afford to slip up now.
Your match referee is Chris Penso, he's been in charge of Chris Penso 30 games in MLS and is average 22.1 fouls called per game. He averages just under three yellow cards per game and has awarded seven reds and 11 penalties. Like all the MLS referees, he's basically crap.
Brad Davis is the big injury concern for the Dynamo. He's spent the week saying he's hoping to be available, but I'd be shocked if he played. Kinnear has options on the left side, so risking Davis tonight would be a potentially devastating move if he injures himself further and is unavailable at all for the playoffs...should the Dynamo qualify.
Montreal's Collen Warner is suspended tonight due to yellow card accumulation.
Speaking of that, another yellow for Bobby Boswell and he'll be suspended one match. At least we have an extra center back.
