Jurgen Kinsmann announced the full 24 player roster for the USMT vs Honduras Hexagonal match earlier today. Dynamo captain Brad Davis made the cut and could see his first World Cup qualifying action.

It's official: Brad Davis has been named to the United States National Team ahead of Wednesday's Hexagonal match against Honduras. The full 24 player roster was announced today, and as we expected Davis made the cut. Davis has been capped six times in his career, but this could be his first World Cup qualifying match.

"What was once closed, is now open." - Brad Davis to Allen Hopkins (part of the video below)

It's a testament to Davis' performance over the last several seasons to win an opportunity to get back into the national team mix. At 31 years of age, Davis is one of the oldest players on the team. He was given another opportunity to impress when called up for the January camp with a roster full of MLS players. Jurgen Klinsmann was expected to select no more than eight players to join camp in Miami ahead of the Honduras game.

It's obvious at this point, more than Dynamo fans are taking notice to the caliber of Davis' play. The USMNT could use the creativity of Davis on the left side and his unmatched service from set pieces and corner kicks.

Whether he'll feature in Wednesday's game is still up in the air, but it's nice to see US boss taking notice to what Houston fans have known all along - Davis is deserving of representing our country and only makes the roster stronger.

The USMNT will travel to San Pedro Sula and face off against a tough Honduras club in Estadio Olimpico. The game will be played on Wednesday, February 6 at 3:00 p.m. CST on beIN SPORT.

Here is the U.S. roster with World Cup qualifier appearances and goals next to each player:
