Today the Houston Dash announced, and confirmed long-held speculation, the signing of Austrian International Forward, Nina Burger. Head Coach Randy Waldrum was quoted as saying, "I'm really excited about adding Nina to our roster, as this has been in the works for some time now."
It has become apparent the Houston Dash aren't content to just be an expansion team this season in NWSL, as they have added key pieces and have proven to not be afraid to make moves if they are necessary. Just yesterday the club traded for Canadian Midfielder Kaylyn Kyle, and now they add a vital piece for the success of the team this season.
Also, announced shortly before the Nina Burger announcement, the club has also opened up season ticket purchases in the Club Level of the upper bowl (200-level). This is a big step as initially the plan was to stick to strictly the lower bowl and close off the entire upper bowl for every match.
