Too Much Time Off
It's official - we have too much time off! I know the league is trying to help us, but it seems like our next game is STILL a month away!
I'm curious to see what we do in midfield with the suspensions of Clark and Moffat against Chicago. I hear Camargo is ready, but the other spot is up for grabs. Do you want to see Dixon or Sturgis? Sturgis has been a starter in the past, but Dixon is a player most fans are dying to see given a chance. The most important question is will one of these players step up and claim the starting role from Clark/Watson? What do you think will happen?
Check out my thoughts on the midfield decisions, games that mattered to the Dynamo last week, some new BBVA Compass Stadium pictures, and much more at my website www.ordinaryorangefan.com
Take a look towards the bottom for a few downloadable files for any fans that want to take it to the next level like me and have Supporter Group chants as your phone's ringtone.
Feedback welcomed and appreciated on my website as I try to post relevant material related to the Dynamo from a fan's perspective.
Go Dynamo!! (and come on April 15th already)
Colin Clark Slur and Expletive
As DD77DD pointed out yesterday Colin Clark verbally abused a ball boy by referring to him using an expletive and a homophobic slur when he wanted the ball during a throw-in.
It was totally unwarranted and unacceptable. I honestly hope that Clark gets banned for the rest of the season because that is totally unacceptable. I also never want to see him in our shirt again.
I don't believe either of these things will come to pass but i do hope he gets some sort of punishment for that. I also have not been impressed in the least by him in these first 3 games. However, Watson has been better and better in these 3 games. I think Camargo should slot into the middle and Watson should get a run out on the right. But Clark is rubbish, and obviously not classy enough to wear the orange.
Any thoughts? Any guesses on potential ban length?
Rangers woes Dynamo Gain?
With the imminent release of up 11 players from the Rangers roster today are there any players of interest to the Dynamo? One that comes to mind is Alejandro Bedoya who really shined in the Swedish league on the wing before moving to Rangers and mostly riding the pine this season. If he signed with the MLS what are our options to acquire him?
Two young Ranger midfielders have already been released today

WE ARE FRIENDS
Saw this cool little ad starring Iker Casillas and Andres Iniesta for La Liga BBVA, and I just think its cool that we are aligned with BBVA...I'm not saying we're going to have a direct pipeline to La Liga players, but it certainly doesn't hurt being on their radar. As they say, my peoples know your peoples
PS - I could see the Boz or Bruin doing something similar for a local ad...just throwing that out there
Any Trialist Keepers?
I was just wondering who people thought could make the team out of our remaining trialists.

Kris Boyd on why he didn't join Dynamo
Boyd explains why he joined Portland and why he skipped on Houston.
He mentions "85 degrees in the middle of January and even the coaches told me the summer was unbearable".
Also, it seems John Spencer charmed with his Scottish accent, plus he is a former Rangers and Chelsea player.
Finally, Spencer is the brother in law of Nottingham Forest's coach, Billy Davies, whom Boyd enjoyed working with during his stint with them.
Nice to know why he passed, though it doesn't change anything. I do not think we pick up any more strikers before the season starts. Maybe we pick up another MLS striker (in the league a few years already) but nobody significant. Dom loves the mid season window. Moffat and Camargo as well as Costly.

The sun today, it's shining alright, and it has a definite Orange hue. Welcome home Captain Kamehameha. You have been missed.
And if anyone out there has an image of this event over at the Houston Amateur Sport Park, please post it here as soon as you can.

3rd Alternate Jersey in the works?
Soccer 4 All, the official retailer for the Houston Dynamo, may have let something slip. Whether it is on purpose or accident remains to be seen.
-Insert Name Here- Changes Face of Houston? Costly Returns?
The thought behind this article is if we had a finally landed that "big name" player, he would fit perfectly into this story. The city of Houston is hard to sell, but I think the player who comes here has to really see the opportunity they have to leave a mark on the soccer in Houston. Hope you enjoy, just something that was on my mind as I thought about the players that turned Houston down and some who were rumored to be in discussions with the Houston Dynamo.

In other news, @yossarin on Twitter posted that Carlo Costly may be set for a return to Houston next week. Looks live this coming from Costly himself via DM. Interesting news to say the least.
What do you think? Answer at forward for the Dynamo?
