The Dynamo host the Union with a chance at some history and more importantly, a playoff spot likely on the line for Houston.
It's been two weeks since the Dynamo last played a match but it feels much longer ad international breaks have a way of being a real drag. Houston welcomes the Philadelphia Union to BBVA Compass Stadium for their final regular season home league match needing a win to stay ahead of the Crew for the final playoff spot. The Dynamo also have a chance to make some history, joining a short list of MLS teams that completed their entire league home schedule undefeated.
The Dynamo's away record and their habit of earning draws against non-playoff teams at home are why their in this position of needing points, but we know that. There's really nothing left to be said at this point other than this team knows what needs to be done and either they'll get their house in order and make the playoffs or they won't. All we can do is watch.
Houston's roster survived the international break with no new injuries. All four players who were away with their national teams returned healthy, so Brad Davis remains the only player on the injury list. He's been upgraded to questionable and will likely be a game day decision. If David can't go, Colin Clark seems the likely pick to start on the left.
As always have fun, keep it reasonably clean and respect your fellow fans. Always tip your servers and remember, try the veal.
