Ginge's Anti-Power Rankings: Week 7

Antipowerrankings_medium

Don't call it a comeback, I been here for seven weeks
Rockin my peers and puttin' footballers in fear
Makin the tears rain down like a MON-soon, Listen to the bass go BOOM
Explosion, overpowerin
Over the competition, Anti-Power Rankings towerin
Wreckin shop, when Ginge drop these rankings that'll make you call the cops
Don't you dare stare, you betta move (after you read)
Don't ever compare Ginge to the rest that'll all get sliced and diced
Competition's payin the price

Anti-Power Rankings gonna knock you out (HUUUH!!!)

#5 - Roberto Mancini: In an interview today, the Manchester City boss has conceded the Premier League title to Chelsea. Two things. First...It's September. Second...the manager at City is the last person that should be conceding a title to anyone. If it's that bad, quit Roberto. Take your stupid scarf and go find another job. Everton has one point this season and I haven't heard David Moyes announce they he's accepted relegation. I'm sure your oil baron masters will love this pronouncement. I'd be shocked if Mancini makes it to the new year in charge of City.

#4 Grant Wahl: With the Seattle Sounders leading Monterrey 2-0 in Mexico, Grant just had to send out this tweet: Is an MLS team finally about to win in Mexico? Seattle up 2-0 at Monterrey in ConcaChampions. Monterrey won 3-2. Total jinx Grant...and that's the second time! You did it to RSL a couple weeks ago. New rule, no tweeting about the first MLS team to win in Mexico until the final whistle. I feel this is the best strategy.

#3 - MLS Referees: Another fantastic week for the...oh forget it, I've said enough.

#2 - MLS "Game of the Season": Tonight at the Home Depot Center, Los Angeles Galaxy vs. New York Red Bulls. It's the BIGGEST game on the season (if you believe MLS) and it's saddled with an 11pm ET kickoff. It's a west coast game on a Friday so you have to have a later start to allow fans time to get to the HDC but it is a bummer. Oh well, enjoy your .02 rating.

#1 - Spartak Moscow Fans: After winning their UEFA Champions League match over Marseille, Spartak fans hacked the official Kremlin Twitter feed and posted this message:

'Спартак' победил 'Марсель'. Блестяще сыграл Сесар Аспиликуэта

Translation? "Spartak beat Marseille, Cesar Azpilicueta played brilliantly." Azpilicueta, a Marseille player, scored an own goal. Well done, well done.
