Expanding Dynamo Theory

With the 2012 Houston Dynamo season just around the corner, it's time to get your feedback about the blog and see if I can sweet talk some of you in to becoming part of the writing team here on Dynamo Theory.

I'm looing to hear from our readers to get your opinions and suggestions about how the blog is doing and what kind of content and coverage you'd like to see in 2012. This is a labor of love for me and I want to make sure that all the time I pour in to the site is generating content that people are enjoying. Please feel free to leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments on this post or you can e-mail them to me if you're more comfortable with that.

I'm also doing my annual open casting call for the blog and you can find out more about that after the jump.

If you've been reading our post, lurking or even joining in on conversations and think you could be a regular contributor on the blog, contact Zach at dtblogstaff@gmail.com

I'm looking for Dynamo fans to fill the following roles on the site:

Match Editor: Essentially you'd be in charge of match previews, setting up the game threads and the match reports.

Writers: Write weekly (or more frequent) columns concerning the Dynamo and/or MLS.

Orange Slicer: During the season, scour the Internets and compile Orange Slices, the daily Dynamo links post.

If you're interested in any of those positions or have questions, just let me know. I promise I'm not trying to shirk my responsibilities as managing editor of the blog and sit in my castle on the hill ruling my orange fiefdom. I'm actually just trying to expand the site and make it bigger and better by incorporating more voices and ramping up our coverage going in to the 2012 season.

If this sounds like something you'd like to be a part of, I look forward to hearing from you. You could also ask Martek, Fuzion or playtherapy who much fun it is to work with me and get occasional e-mails from me. No doubt they'll tell you I'm awesome.
