Report: Luis Advincula Set to Sign with Dynamo

El Comercio is reporting that the Dynamo are on the verge of signing Sporting Cristal midfielder Luis Advincula. Details are limited, but we've heard Advincula's name connected with the Dynamo a couple times recently, including confirmation for Jesus Ortiz of the Chron that he'd be recommended to the Dynamo.

From what I can dig up, he's 22-years old and can play as a striker or a winger. If the reports are true, let's hope he's right footed because Houston really could use a true right side midfielder. Advincula has made 63 appearances, with 7 goals for Sporting Cristal since joining the club in 2010. He's also made 17 appearances for the Peru National Team.

As Advincula is currently employed by another club, I believe he wouldn't be able to officially join the Dynamo until the summer transfer window.

Here's the translated report from El Comerico:

The former striker, now lateral, Sporting Cristal , Luis Advincula is on the verge of being signed by the Houston Dynamo of Major League Soccer (MLS) and today in Trade Union in Moyobamba, may be his last game with the blue . In Florida, the documents sent by the American club are evaluated and only waiting for the appropriate signatures.

Advincula has been considered in the starting Roberto Mosquera sent to IPD grammed Stadium to face Julio Cesar Uribe's from 12:30 pm

About the Dynamo can highlight one of whose principal shareholders of former boxing world champion Oscar de la Hoya. The offer sent to the footballer rimenses is concrete. Advincula interested in the U.S.
