Les Alexander Will Not Be Buying the Dynamo

Some breaking news on this Saturday, Mark Berman from FOX 26 in Houston is reporting that the sale of the Dynamo to Houston Rockets owner Les Alexander will not happen. Bummer.

Berman spoke with Chris Canetti today about the deal and received this response:

"There's not going to be a sale of the Dynamo," Canetti said. "Our owners received an offer."

"The offer was evaluated through a negotiation and it's ultimately been determined that the offer is not going to be accepted. At this point the Dynamo will remain under its current ownership group as it has been constructed."

With AEG being put up for sale this week, who knows what the future holds for the Dynamo's ownership situation. FOr now, it's status quo, which of course means we'll continued to be listed by AEG as an "other teams & stadiums around the world".
