For most of the season, the Houston Dynamo seem to have been beset by personnel issues. Whether it be injuries, suspensions, or international callups, it seems like the Dynamo have been unable to field a full roster. With the season winding down, however, that appears to be about to change. The Injury report going into Sunday afternoon's clash with the New York Red Bulls is surprisingly bare, and with Brad Davis, Boniek Garcia, and Jermaine Taylor also returning from international duty, coach Dominic Kinnear will be able to put his best players on the pitch in a very crucial match.
For the record, here's the injury report, minus a number of the usual suspects:

OUT: Brian Ownby - Right knee sprain
Missing from this are Andrew Driver, Eric Brunner, and Calen Carr, all of whom seem to have recovered over the break. Whether or not they'll see any playing time is unknown, but if nothing else, they will provide more depth and possible reinforcements come Sunday afternoon.

While the Saturday night matches have yet to finish, it's already clear that the scenario in which the Dynamo could clinch a playoff spot this weekend has been taken off the board - meaning that the points that might have been necessary to clinch will now be necessary to simply keep pace. Nobody said it would be easy, but it is now assured that for the Dynamo, the playoff race will come down to the very end.
