On Wednesday night, the Houston Dynamo will face off in the most anticipated international match in many years. In 2008, the Dynamo made it to the semifinals in the CONCACAF Champions Cup only to be eliminated on the road in Costa Rica by Saprissa. With a result in Mexico, Houston would be back in this year's semifinals of the CONCACAF Champions League.
Last Tuesday, Houston got away with a narrow 1-0 win over Santos in late fashion (89th minute) at BBVA Compass Stadium. They'll take that slim lead to a dangerous Estadio Corona in Torreon, Mexico.
Santos is pretty confident ahead of the match after outscoring their last two MLS opponents 12-3 in CCL play.
