The Houston Dynamo Reserve schedule was released by Major League Soccer earlier today along with the full schedule for all the MLS reserve clubs.

The Dynamo will open the season next Sunday, March 17 immediately following the first team match against FC Dallas. Houston will play nine games this season, with five home games and four away games. Mixed in will be two matches against USL team Charleston Battery as part of the new agreement between the two leagues.

In 2012, the Dynamo reserves won the Central Mountain Division title with a record of 6-2-2 (20 points). FC Dallas finished second with a 6-3-1 record (18 points).

The reserve squad was led in scoring by Cam Weaver with 11 goals, leading many fans to call for him to be placed in more first team action when the team was struggling down the stretch.

The reserve schedule will give a number of players the opportunity to get some quality time on the pitch if they're not seeing the field with the first team.
