After injuries and suspensions piled up for the US men's national team in their 3-1 defeat in Costa Rica last night, Jurgen Klinsmann was forced to make a number of personnel changes for Tuesday's qualifier against Mexico in Columbus. Jozy Altidore, Matt Besler, and Geoff Cameron all picked up yellows, leaving them suspended for a crucial qualifier, and Michael Bradley's injury means that another US player will be unavailable Tuesday. As replacements, Klinsmann has called up Joe Corona, Clarence Goodson, Jose Torres, and - most important for Houston Dynamo fans - Brad Davis.
Per release Davis, Joe Corona, Clarence Goodson and Jose Torres will join squad and Bradley has been ruled out. http://t.co/r27RhpnPZW

This call has already gone out, meaning that Davis will not be with the Dynamo for tomorrow's home match against the New York Red Bulls. For a team trying to rebound from a poor midweek result and already plagued with injuries and other callups, the loss of Brad Davis leaves another huge hole in the Dynamo starting XI, and his replacement is yet another question that head coach Dominic Kinnear will have to answer come tomorrow afternoon - and for Dynamo fans already worried and starting to panic, this will not be a good omen.
Regardless, we wish Brad the best of luck in helping the national team to a victory Tuesday night.
