The Dynamo kicked off training Monday as they get ready to head to Arizona followed by South Carolina. Temperatures were in the upper 50s but after a drop in over night temperatures players had to deal with ice and freezing temps on Tuesday.
There are a lot of familiar faces running around training including Andrew Driver who last Friday signed with the team after spending last season here on loan from Hearts. Familiar face Euan Holden, referred to on the Dynamo twitter as a "guest" player, is not on trial with the team, but Sito Seoane is on trial.
Holden was playing in England with Bury before his contract was cancelled earlier this month, and what's a Dynamo training without a Holden around? Seoane played for Austin Aztex helping lead the team to the USL PDL Championship last season. Michael Chabala was also training with the team, but is not under contract.
The team will play against the Dynamo Academy on Wednesday at 3pm at HASP. Then on Sunday they will be playing the Colorado Rapids at 11am. The team will then be heading to Tucson, AZ from Feb 4- Feb 10. They will then travel to Charleston, S.C. to participate in the Carolina Challenge Cup. The games in Arizona and South Carolina will be streamed online for fans to watch.
