Fantasy MLS: Down to the Wire

There are only two weeks to go in the regular season, but there is definitely still plenty left to play for.

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Don't look for any DGW teams to save you this week... because there aren't any. In fact, the only DGW left in the season is with Chivas USA, so the decisions don't get any easier next week. That said, there are a few matchups worth taking a look at for Round 32 -- thanks to MLSFantasyBoss.com, here are the remaining regular-season fixtures:

FMLS 32

Each team only has one home game and one away game left to play. D.C. United (CHI, @MTL) and the Vancouver Whitecaps (@SJ, COL) have, on paper, the most favorable opponents in the final two rounds. LA Galaxy and the Seattle Sounders essentially play a home-and-home series to determine the Supporters' Shield champion, but it's anyone's guess how that's going to play out. Red-hot New England Revolution, who have scored two or more goals in seven of their last eight matches, play against recently knocked-out Houston and Toronto.

Fixtures aside, It's hard to overlook the big guns that have been scoring week after week. Diego Valeri has averaged 12 points per game in his last six matches. Landon Donovan has posted double-digits in six of his last 10. Robbie Keane scored 12 or 13 in his last three. Obafemi Martins has been boom-or-bust, posting a 3, 17, 12,  and 2 in his last four outings.

Who are you counting on for your last two weeks? Is Seattle or LA going to come away with the Shield and the all-important CCL spot? Let me know, and as always, be sure to pick a different captain than me!
