With the Houston Dynamo soon to be short midfielders Luis Garrido and Oscar Boniek Garcia as they spend time with the Honduran National team, the team could use some reinforcements. Luckily, they'll be getting back leading goal scorer Will Bruin. Bruin has missed four games to date with a right ankle sprain that he suffered on a goal scoring play against Sporting Kansas City.
Will Bruin recently returned to practice, and while there is no definite time table on his return, the team is hopeful he can be available as early as this weekend. Giles Barnes and Omar Cummings have played well enough to not rush Bruin back from injury and have developed a very strong chemistry together. However, with Garrido and Boniek missing time, Omar Cummings could drop into the right midfield role, one that he played earlier in the season, and Bruin could play up top. With Garrido and Boniek now expected to miss the game in Toronto and the match against D.C. United, there is no better time for Bruin to return to the field.
