Head Coach John Herdman named twenty players to the roster for a pair of upcoming friendlies against reigning Women's World Cup Champions Japan. Amongst the roster was Dash and National Team starting keeper Erin McLeod and midfielder Kaylyn Kyle. McLeod currently has 91 caps for Canada and has started in 88 games. Kyle has scored 5 goals for Canada, with 79 caps and has started in 51 games.
The matches will be held at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton Saturday, October 25th (4PM EST), and BC Place in Vancouver on Tuesday, October 27th (10PM EST). The last time the two teams met was in the 2012 London Olympics in which Japan walked away with a 2-1 win.
