Take the 'It's on us' pledge

You may have noticed a change today at Dynamo Theory or at your other favorite SB Nation blogs. This week we will be joining other SBN blogs in supporting the 'It's on us' campaign.

The campaign is aimed at raising awareness of sexual assault on college campuses. It is not just about stopping sexual assault against women but against men as well. It is about stepping forward to help stop sexual assault when you see someone who is in need of help. To no longer allow victims to be shamed while their attackers are lauded.

While the initive is aimed at helping prevent sexual assault on college campuses you don't have to be a college student to take the pledge or to make a difference. You can help to stop sexual assault no matter what age you are or where you see it happening.

I PLEDGE

To RECOGNIZE that non-consensual sex is sexual assault.

To IDENTIFY situations in which sexual assault may occur.

To INTERVENE in situations where consent has not or cannot be given.

To CREATE an environment in which sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.
