Defender of the Year: Kofi Sarkodie (36%)

Kofi Sarkodie won this year's Creamsicle for Defender of the Year. The right back had another solid year on a back line that struggled at times. Teams played away from the right side rather than go toe to toe with the defender. Smart on the ball Sarkodie rarely suffered a mental lapse.

Dynamo Theory Staff Vote: Kofi Sarkodie (40%)

What did fans have to say about the defender?

"Simply, Kofi has been the most stable and balanced defender off his feet and head."

"He does a lot of work to try to get a TEAM Win."

"He seems to always be at the net when needed."

"Sarkodie was probably out most consistent defender. Unlike other defenders he rarely made crucial mistakes that would put most of the blame all on himself. He also had a few good runs forward that really helped at times."
