The Dynamo Theory annual award series the Orangesicles, are over, but it comes at the end of an era. As head coach Dominic Kinnear moves on to the San Jose Earthquakes, we've seen an amazing group of players don our beloved Houston Dynamo Orange. So as we wrapped up the year with the Orangesicles, I think it's only fitting to conclude the era with a Best XI of players who played for Dominic Kinnear in Houston.
The staff here at Dynamo Theory took part in a brief survey that was designed to see what the ultimate Dynamo lineup might look like. The rules were simple; the formation would be the Dominic Kinnear preferred 4-4-2 and players that played in multiple positions were grouped in the position they found the most success in. For instance, Corey Ashe was a midfielder and a defender, but was grouped with the defenders.
But before we get to who we think belongs in the Best XI, we're curious to see who YOU think belongs. The same rules apply and are built into the survey below. So happy voting and be sure to get your votes in by Sunday, November 30th at 6 PM Central!
