U.S. Draws with China in Opening Match

The U.S. Women's National Team kicked off the 2014 International Tournament of Brasilia Wednesday by facing China in the first round of matches. The first and only goal by the United States came in the 23rd minute when a cross from Megan Rapinoe found Carli Lloyd who netted her 57th goal for the National Team. China found an equalizer in the 67th minute with their one and only shot on goal.

The next game for the U.S. is scheduled for is Sunday, December 14th (4:00PM EST) against Brazil.
