Teasing the first few weeks of the 2015 schedule, Major League Soccer unveiled the home opener matches for each club on Friday morning. Per the release, Houston will host the rebranded Columbus Crew SC on Saturday, March 7th at BBVA Compass Stadium. The Dynamo were also given a nod for the May 10th opener in Toronto as a phase of BMO Field renovations are wrapped up.

MLS Cup winners LA Galaxy will herald in the 2015 season with a Friday night home match against Chicago Fire in a rather unfavorable broadcast slot - 10:00PM ET on Unimas. Saturday plays host to five other matches with Portland hosting Real Salt Lake perhaps serving as the marquee headline. Dom Kinnear also returns to Texas with his new-look San Jose Earthquakes facing FC Dallas.

Sunday will be a big step for the new broadcast partners and an enticing lineup beginning with the new expansion teams Orlando City SC and New York City FC at the Orlando Citrus Bowl on ESPN2 (capacity holds 70,000). Following that match, Sporting Kansas City opens against an Henry-less New York Red Bulls in what will be the first broadcast of the season on Fox Sports 1, a new television partner that will replace NBC Sports Network this year. As part of a Fox Sports doubleheader, Seattle will cap the first weekend by hosting MLS Cup runner-ups New England Revolution. New England will also travel the next Sunday for the first match in Yankee Stadium as NYCFC open their home schedule.

The full MLS schedule (as well as additional broadcasting details) will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
