USWNT Names Roster for 2014 Brasilia International Tournament

The United States Women's National Team will take part in the 2014 Brasilia International Tournament December 10th-17th at National Stadium Mane Garrincha. The roster, released earlier this week, carried a few shocking appointments with the naming of Lori Chalupny and Samantha Mewis to the roster.

Both Meghan Klingenberg and Carli Lloyd are expected to see heavy playing time after their performances in the CONCACAF Women's Championship, a tournament that saw Klingenberg score her first International goal while Lloyd ranked second in overall goals. Expected Dash-first pick Morgan Brian will also travel with the team. To date, Brian has scored three international goals on the senior team in sixteen appearances.
