Final rosters for the 2014 National Women's Soccer League were released this morning. The Houston Dash's 18-woman roster contained no surprises as all of the players listed had been acquired through allocation, expansion draft or college draft. Teams in the NWSL can have up to 20 players on a roster so it is still possible for some roster changes to take place.
Both U.S. Women National Team allocated players Whitney Engen and Meghan Klingenberg are currently playing for Swedish side Tyresö FF, and will join the Dash at the conclusion of Tyresö's UEFA Women's Champions League run. While Canadian Women's National team player Lauren Sesselmann is out with a knee injury. College draft pick Rafaelle Souza will be finishing her degree at Ole Miss before joining the team full time.
The team's season starts this Saturday against the Portland Thorns at BBVA Compass Stadium with head coach Randy Waldrum at the helm.
