So Many Choices, So Little Time

We are now in an unlimited transfer window -- that means you can make as many transfers as you want, without any kind of score penalty. This means if you haven't acted already, you need to:

  • Transfer out injured players, low-performers, and players that will be unavailable for international duty (see this Reddit thread keeping track of all of the players being called up)
  • Transfer in players that will have a double-game week in Weeks 11-13:
Week 11: SKC, PHI  |  Week 12: DAL, DC, HOU, LA | Week 13: CHV, POR, SKC
  • Make sure your changes are in TODAY BY 7:15PM Central -- the free transfer window ends then!
  • Don't worry about anything beyond week 14 -- you will get another free transfer window at that time.

Here are the top three players for each position that I like for the upcoming weeks:

Eric Kronberg (SKC, $5.3, 12%): Has two double-game weeks in rounds 11 and 13; Form: 5.8 points/game
Jaime Penedo (LA, $5.8, 3%): A differential option for week 12; Form: 4.0 points/game
Bill Hamid (DC, $4.7, 5%): Hamid is a budget DGW option for week 12, and DC have only allowed two goals in one of their last six matches

Chance Myers (SKC, $8.4, 2%): Cheaper than Collin, but has a lot less overall points due to an injury for the first few games of the season; Form: 6.8
Bobby Boswell (DC, $8.4, 10%): One goal, two assists, three clean sheets in last seven matches; Form: 5.5
Aurelien Collin (SKC, $9.9, 17%): Last five full games aside from the red card: 8, 8, 9, 14, 7

Diego Valeri (POR, $10.0, 9%): The Portland Timbers' playmaker will have two shots in week 13 to score big points.
Benny Feilhaber (SKC, $8.3, 13%): With Graham Zusi out on international duty after the midweek match, Feilhaber will have more opportunities to be involved in the attack.
Javier Morales (RSL, $10.7, 10%): Red-hot against the Houston Dynamo, and Real Salt Lake have two home matches in a row before a DGW in Round 14.

Erick Torres (CHV, $8.6, 17%): Chivas USA have a bye this week, but they'll be up and running with two games on Week 13. Form: 6.8
Fabian Espindola (DC, $8.6, 8%): Espindola has been key to the DC attack, and could be a good differential; Form: 6.8
Dom Dwyer (SKC, $8.3, 11%): Five games in three weeks, and plenty of opportunities to find the back of the net

Is there someone you think should be ahead of these guys? Let me know in the comments.

Best of luck, and don't forget to pick a different captain than me!
