World Cup 2014: How will Jurgen Klinsmann select his 2014 US Men's National Team World Cup camp roster?

With Brad Davis a possibility to make the 30-man 2014 FIFA World Cup United States preparatory camp roster, Head Coach Jurgen Klinsmann explains how he is making his selections.

There is a rather good chance Houston Dynamo midfielder and our beloved "Left Foot of Glory" could be one of thirty men headed to the 2014 World Cup United States Men's National Team preparatory camp. USMNT Head Coach Jurgen Klinsmann has kept tight-lipped on who will be on his list, but he did give some insight into how he will make his selections.

One thing Klinsmann has shown me is his time as a player has given him an intimate understanding of how the selection process can positively or negatively impact a player's confidence and psyche. He also makes it clear he is taking a look at how each player will affect team chemistry and whether the player is a giver or a taker.

After watching the video, and understanding the value of Brad Davis from a team and leadership standpoint, I find it hard to believe Klinsmann won't have Davis on his 30-man list. The bigger question is will Brad make the slimmer, trimmer 23-man roster?

We'll know no later than the first week of June when FIFA rules stipulate the roster list must be turned in.
