McLeod, Kyle called up to CanWNT

The Dash roster will get a little bit thinner as national teams call.

Dash goalkeeper Erin McLeod and midfielder Kaylyn Kyle were called up to the CanWNT to participate in their upcoming friendly against Germany. The pair will be in Houston for the match against the Western New York Flash but will then head to training camp, missing Houston's match against FC Kansas City on Saturday. Canada will face off against Germany on June 18 in Vancouver.

US players Whitney Engen and Meghan Klingenberg have already left for USWNT camp to face France June 14 and June 19. Nine Burger is with the Austrian national team as they prepare to take on Finland. All three will be missing the Dash's match on Wednesday night.

The team is used to having a thin roster having been hit early by injuries as well as missing Engen and Klingenberg to Tyreso's run in the Champions league. As this point in the season the team has become adept at filling in missing holes with a stong bench to pull from.
