Engen, Klingenberg called up to USWNT

The latest USWNT calls ups include Dash players

Bruce Fedyck-USA TODAY Sports

Jill Ellis released her first USWNT roster since becoming permanent head coach of the team. The team has two friendly matches set to take place against France on June 14 and June 19.

Both Houston Dash defenders Whitney Engen and Meghan Klingenberg were called up to the team. The pair have been playing for Tyreso and are set to arrive in Houston this week. Losing the pair again will continue to test the Dash's defense as the team has already been without them all season.
