It's not the game that either team wanted to be playing. Brazil, the host nation, had high hopes of winning the World Cup on their home turf, but in the first half of their game against Germany it became clear that wasn't going to happen. They were beaten 7-1 by Germany and are now left to play the third place game. They will have Thiago Silva back who was on suspension last game for card accumulation. They will still be without star player Neymar who broke a vertebrae in his back in the quarter-finals. Last World Cup the Netherlands made it all the way to the final before losing to Spain. This time they were undone by Argentina who beat them in penalty kicks. Now both teams must make the best of what is before them and compete to be the third best team in the World Cup.
