This little nugget came from Stephen Goff (aka @SoccerInsider) this morning:
Good morning. Hoping for more Beasley news today. Sounds like Dynamo looking to move Ashe. Another club may enter chase at last minute— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) July 23, 2014
If DaMarcus Beasley comes in with the subtraction of Corey Ashe and probably some other piece coming to the Houston Dynamo does this become more palatable? Some have said they don't think Beasley is a great defender, but he is quite good going forward.
I pose this thought: Left back is a tough position to find premier talent, and by bringing in DaMarcus Beasley you'd have the best left back in Major League Soccer. Is having the best left back in a league with mostly mediocre left backs a good move?
