Houston re-signs Brittany Bock

Injured midfielder expected to be available for 2015 season.

The Houston Dash continue to set down their roster for the NWSL 2015 season. The club announced Friday they had resigned midfielder Brittany Bock for next season. Terms of the deal were not released per team and league policy.

The 27-year-old was the team's first pick in the league's 2014 Expansion Draft. Brock started in the Dash's season opener against Portland Thorns FC but was substituted in the 23rd minute with a left ACL injury. After undergoing ACL reconstructive surgery April 25, she missed the remainder of the season.

According to the press release, Brock's presence remained a positive influence on the team through the season. She was named Humanitarian of the Year by the club. The University of Notre Dame product is expected to make a full recovery for the upcoming 2015 season.
