Coach Waldrum took time to answer a few questions on Twitter yesterday, poke a little fun at a few of his players and to explain differences between coaching the Dash and the Trinidad & Tobago National Team. Without question, the facilities and dynamics of the T&T team are much different than that of the MLS-affiliated Dash.
@scout_mb The Dash is a professional setup and organization, & the T&T team is extremely poor & has nothing, I have 8 balls to practice with— Randy Waldrum (@CoachWaldrum) September 24, 2014
@spirit_uswnt The players, they have been so much fun and work so hard for so little! The weather is nice too!— Randy Waldrum (@CoachWaldrum) September 24, 2014
@thelbshankster I am..we are clearly are at a disadvantage due to what we don't have in terms of resources to prepare properly, but ready— Randy Waldrum (@CoachWaldrum) September 24, 2014
And for anyone who's ever wondered what forward Ella Masar is saying in tweets, don't feel bad. Coach Waldrum hasn't quite cracked it yet either.
