Still no confirmation from the team about Kinnear situation.

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Appearing today on the 'Keeper Notes' podcast Houston Dynamo team president said the team had 'No comment' on the Dominic Kinnear situation.

Late Friday word broke that head coach Dominic Kinnear has been given permission by the team to accept a coaching position with the San Jose Earthquakes if he was offered one. Kinnear was dismissive when asked about the San Jose job. Kinnear's contract with the Dynamo runs until 2015 however a deal could be made for the San Jose to get Kinnear.

Kinnear has been with the Dynamo since the team moved in 2005 from San Jose playing their first season in 2006. The team has won two MLS Cup titles under Kinnear. The team has also made the playoffs every season but 2010. The team is currently hanging on by its fingers nails to get into this years playoff.
