The wait is over! The ballots have been submitted, counted, recounted, and are now here for your viewing pleasure. Dynamo Theory will announce the 2015 Creamsicles award winners one by one over the next 5 days, continuing with Rookie of the Year.

DaMarcus Beasley Defender of the Year (40%)
The Indiana native won the fan vote for Defender of the Year. He started and played in 28 games this season for the Dynamo. He scored his first goal for this Houston Dynamo this season against San Jose. The goal was even up for Goal of the Week He was named to MLS All-Star team as part of Fan XI this season. He played in the first half of the All-Star game against Tottenham.
Though he had announced his retirement from the US National team Beasley found himself called by in by Jurgen Klinsmann. Never one to not answer a call Beasley joined the National team for the Gold Cup.
